Little Apples Playgroup
Our Playgroup currently runs on Monday mornings during school terms from 9am – 10.30am in our early childhood area.
We have a relaxed playgroup, run by volunteers, where we often let the children take the lead in what they want to do. Having such a great outdoor area with a huge sandpit, grassed area with climbing courses, cubbyhouse, playground and even a race track where the kids can do laps on their bike/pushcar of choice, we find they love to be outside. This area is fenced and also has plenty of shade and space to roam around. Occasionally, we also set up activities with arts and craft and have a great selection of toys for indoor play.
Anyone can attend playgroup, mum, dad, grandparent or a caregiver. Playgroup welcomes newborns right through to kindy age children. We have a mixture of different ages attending which is great for the kids to learn how to interact with other children. Being school based, it provides the opportunity for smoother transition when your child commences kindy.
If you would like to trial playgroup, the first two sessions are free with membership and term fees due upon the third attendance. Fees are minimal at our playgroup, if your not already a member of PGWA you’ll be required to join which is $35 per family (enquire for concession prices) per calendar year. If you already have your membership number just let us know. Our term fee is $10 per family, which is enough to cover craft, tea and coffee etc.
Each session we ask you to bring a piece of fruit to add to the platter for the kids to share. You will also need a hat, a water bottle and be sure to advise us if your little one has any allergies.
